The new book by prof. Julian Kuyumdzhiev PhD, will be presented within the program of "March Music Days" Music Festival in 2024. For the purposes of the research he studied the archives of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the student archives of Dresden University of Technology, where Bulgarian pianist, composer, music teacher, architect and public figure Dimitar Nenov studied. The author was driven by the desire to acquaint readers with the early creative path of the erudite.

"I found quite interesting and unknown facts part of which, of course, also raise questions. For example, in many documents Dimitar Nenov writes that he returned to Bulgaria in August 1927, but there I found documents from the end of his studies marked by his signature and they are from September. The are interesting facts about the years of study, which were very difficult for him financially. He did not have much money, he had to support himself. He acted in the cinema, he was leader in a ballet compan, he gave concerts etc. but that took away from his study time. So there are quite a few applications in this archive fund for deferment of exams and quite a few applications for deferment of payment. He should have graduated in 1925, but he graduated in 1927 precisely for these reasons."

A very important highlight of the book are the unknown architectural sketches from Nenov's student period.

In Bulgaria there are several buildings built according to his architectural plans. It is an almost unknown fact that the house at the tram stop on the famous Vishneva Street next to the Sofia Seminary was built according to his design. Also several railway stations in the country were designed by him.
